About Us
A little about Drew and Helen.
Life is certainly full on with us at the moment.. incubators humming, pigs very pregnant, goat's giving birth and plants growing like crazy; all this and still trying to work full time jobs at the same time! Oh well.. it's all good fun as long as you don't weaken as my old boss used to say.
We've certainly learned a lot on our Good Life adventure so far and we learn more every day. It's very hard work some days and there are the occasional moments when a small town house with a little garden seems very appealing but these moments are fleeting. Just sitting down to a meal that you've produced at the end of a good days work is the most rewarding way to live. It is fair to say that the housework takes a bit of a back seat and our place does occasionally look like parts of post war London but only boring women have tidy homes according to my fridge magnet anyway.
Every year is a new challenge and new opportunity and we're looking forward to a great Spring and Summer. We're so glad you visited our site for a brief insight and we'd love to talk over your ideas with you (Drew can talk about pigs for hours), so, drop us a line, it would be great to hear from you.
